Our Roots

Parakeet Labs inherited the creative legacy of a true midwestern workshop. We spring from the same fields as the 1920’s barnstormers who re-crafted their farm equipment into some of the world’s first aircrafts. Passed from generation to generation, our tools have worked on everything from airplanes and tractors to clothing and musical instruments. Today, our shop blends antique and modern technology to create functional and aesthetic lifestyle wares for the 21st century. We take great pride in reviving artifacts of yesteryear with the same creative craftsmanship that brought our ancestors roaring out of their corn fields and into the future.
